

The fall issue of
Edible Chesapeake has a recipe for apple cider donuts, which I made last weekend. Donuts they were, but of apple cider there was barely a trace (in either the donut or the frosting). There is something off about the recipe as well -- I had to add at least an additional cup of flour to get a dough close to manageable given all the liquid in there.
